9 Best Alternatives to Niche Scraper

1. Dropship.IO – best overall alternative to Niche Scraper

Dropship.IO is an all-in-one product spy tool. It allows you to find winning products, and ads, and also spy on competitors.

Dropship.IO Features

  • Product Database – you can use the tool to find winning products in the Shopify universe. The search results will show you the sales stats of a product based on both revenue and units sold.
  • Competitive Research – you can find competitors on this tool, and track their performance weekly, daily, and monthly. On top of that, you will have access to the apps that your competitor uses, giving you visibility on how they are managing their dropshipping store.
  • Ad Spot – the ad spot is a search engine for ads. You can use filters and keywords to search for specific ads related to your niche. Once done, you can view the ads and investigate how they performed. You can also watch the ad to see how you can use the same strategy for your marketing campaign.

Dropship.IO Pros

  • There is a free trial
  • You can track stores and products over time
  • There is an ad spy
  • Lots of other features like calculators

Dropship.IO Cons

  • Currently only tracks Shopify stores

Dropship.IO also has a list of winning stores, winning products based on trends, calculators, and a portfolio of the best products you can dropship.

Summary: Dropship.IO offers a lot of programs and systems than Niche Scraper. The tool makes it possible not only to find winning products but to also do a deep-dive analysis of what your competitors are doing.  Click here to try it for free today.

2. Spocket – best for AliExpress product sourcing

Spocket is one of the pioneers in the product spy tool industry for dropshippers. As such, it also is one of the biggest with multiple integrations to offer.

Spocket Features

  • Integrations – you can integrate this tool with multiple platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, eBay, Wix, Amazon, and so many more. If you do this, you will have only one control dashboard to change product info in all your sales channels.
  • Other Tools – Spocket, after many years, now has a list of tools like DropGenius, Smartli, AliScraper, etc. These are tools that power your dropshipping store, such as automating it or scraping winning products from AliExpress.
  • Private-Label –Spocket now has an offer for cosmetics where you can do private-label dropshipping at an affordable cost. Private-label means that you will order in bulk, and the products and packaging will carry your brand.

Spocket Pros

  • Over 7 million products to browse
  • You can use the tool to dropship in several platforms
  • There is no fee for the sale you make

Spocket Cons

  • They removed the free account; now, you have to pay a subscription

Spocket lacks an advertising spy tool. Its key focus is giving its users winning products and integration, plus you can chat directly with the suppliers.

Summary: Spocket is mainly a product spy tool where you can find hot products to sell. They also provide a way for you to source these winning products.

3. Dropified – best for high-end products

Like Spocket, Dropified has been around for a while. There was a time when they offered food supplements but that is no longer available today. Instead, they now concentrate on high-end winning products.

Dropified Features

  • Integration – you can integrate the Dropified system with Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, CommerceHQ, and GrooveKart.
  • Product Sources – it is not only AliExpress where you can source products but also eBay and Alibaba. After signing up for an account with these platforms, you can use them as product sources and then import products listed in those marketplaces to your store.
  • Adding and Editing – you can edit products from the Dropified platform before you import them to your store.
  • Automation – one of the best things that Dropified offers is full automation. Once a customer places an order in your store, you no longer have to fulfill it manually. The Dropified system will process the payment to the supplier, and then the supplier now has to ship the item.

Dropified Pros

  • Integrates with several platforms
  • You can automate your dropshipping order fulfillment process
  • You can list products on Facebook

Dropified Cons

  • There is no free account

Dropified offers a cashback program if you place orders in AliExpress. As a seller, this can mean a lot because you can get cashback rewards in the future to either make more purchases or pay your bills.

Summary: Dropified is both a product finder and a dropship product importation tool. Most of its products come from AliExpress, but you can also source from eBay and Alibaba.

4. Sell the Trend – best for finding trending products

As the company name suggests, Sell the Trend is a dropshipping platform that focuses on products that are currently in demand. Apart from the product spy tool, it also offers some systems similar to Spocket.

Sell the Trend Features

  • Dropshipping Course – they offer a complete course that will help you set up a successful dropshipping business. There is no need to pay extra to content creators or gurus for the same learning modules.
  • Integration – you can integrate Sell the Trend with Shopify, CJDropshipping, WooCommerce, and AliExpress. You can use the Shopify and WooCommerce platforms for store creation, and the other two for platform sourcing.
  • Product Database – the platform houses over 7 million in its database in over 83 niches. Surely, there is a winning product you can find for your chosen dropshipping niche.

Sell the Trend Pros

  • You can automate your sales process
  • The automation process also provides you with a shipping tracking number
  • It is easy to import products to your store

Sell the Trend Cons

  • There is no free account; at minimum, have to pay $39.97 monthly

All in all, Sell the Trend is an excellent replacement for Niche Scraper. One thing you will love about it is that it has an ad maker that takes into account Facebook audiences and Instagram engagement.

Summary: Sell the Trend is an all-in-one product finder and marketing tool. The one thing it lacks is a competitor analysis.

5. Tradelle – best for identifying product demand and saturation

Tradelle is a product finder, an importation tool, and an order fulfillment system. It aggregates data from various sources and compiles them into a coherent analysis.

Tradelle Features

  • Product Data – a product page will show you the capital cost of the product, its market selling price, and potential profit per sale. You can also view the product’s supplier source, such as AliExpress or Amazon, and take a look at any relevant Facebook ad about the product.
  • Product Saturation – Tradelle will show you how many online stores are selling the same product. In addition, you will also see a chart of the product demand in the last few years.
  • Social Media Targeting – if you want to create an ad, Tradelle’s product dashboard provides you with interest groups on Facebook and their potential audience size.

Tradelle Pros

  • You can see how many stores are selling a product
  • The tool gives guidance on audience demographics
  • You can view which regions have the highest interest per product

Tradelle Cons

  • Can only connect with Shopify for now

Although Tradelle has no video creation tool like Sell the Trend, it does provide you with a link to a product’s ad library on Facebook. Use this as a guide if you want to create viral marketing videos.

Summary: Tradelle is a useful tool to find winning products see details about competition. Use it if you want to sell products that other dropshippers do not carry in their stores.

6. Syncee – best free alternative

Syncee is a product database that offers more than 8 million products. You can use the tool to source products and import them to your dropshipping store.

Syncee Features

  • Alibaba Sourcing – like other dropship tools, you can source products from the manufacturers in Alibaba. In this case, you can expect to pay real wholesale prices per product, not wholesale. You will also have access to premium product choices, provided that you subscribe to the Business Plan.
  • Automation – you can automate the order fulfillment process like you could in Dropified and Sell the Trend. This process applies to an unlimited number of suppliers.
  • Western Suppliers – you do not have to rely on suppliers from China. Synce works with some of the biggest bands and manufacturers from the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, and other European countries.

Syncee Pros

  • Lots of integrations to choose from
  • You can import products to your store and automate the fulfillment
  • You can use the system for free

Syncee Cons

  • There is no video ad creation tool

Syncee is an excellent tool for people who want to dropship products of high quality. Given this, expect that the capital cost for each product is also high, and the profit margins could be low.

Summary: Syncee is a brand-oriented supplier and product database for dropshippers.  You can use it to import products and automate your sales processes.

7. AppScenic – best for domestic product hunting

AppScenic is a tool that makes it possible to ship goods really fast in Western markets. The company does not rely on Chinese suppliers—instead, they aggregate products sourced domestically.

AppScenic Features

  • Integration – the platform works or connects with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Ecwid, and eBay. With this integration comes a feature where you automatically get tracking numbers for order shipments, provided that you enable the automated ordering process.
  • Product Info Syncing – whenever a product receives an update from a supplier in the AppScenic database, the system will also update what is on your store. The sync will apply in real time, but only for the stock and price, not the content and image of the product.
  • Automatic Ordering – you have the option to enable automated ordering; if you do this, you no longer have to go to your AppScenic dashboard to fulfill orders. The system will do it for you even if you are asleep.

AppScenic Pros

  • You can connect up to 10 stores with one plan
  • You can import between 100 and 20,000 products
  • Order automation is possible.

AppScenic Cons

  • There is a transaction fee of between 1% and 3%

AppScenic has a free plan, but this will not allow you to place an order. Use the free plan to browse products and build your store, and only upgrade once you have an order.

Summary: AppScenic is a product database that has a strong focus on Western markets and suppliers. With it, you can find suppliers from the US, the UK, and Canada.

8. Ecomhunt – best for quick product searches

Ecomhunt is a product finder that enables dropshippers to find winning products quickly. The system provides details about estimated profits, analytics, and strategies you can implement to improve your conversion rate.

Ecomhunt Features

  • Supplier Finder – Ecomhunt not only gives you access to a list of winning products; it can also provide you with the source of the product.  You no longer need to do a reverse image Google search just to see where you can find suppliers for a product you want to sell.
  • The Hunter – this tool is an extension that allows you to find ads. You cannot access this feature unless you subscribe to a paid plan. The tool has access to Facebook ads where you can find ads related to the specific product you are looking at.

Ecomhunt Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Lots of useful data
  • Huge product catalog

Ecomhunt Cons

  • Not accessible in all countries

Ecomhunt offers a free account, but this has severe limitations. With a free account, it is almost impossible to browse winning products. As such, I suggest that you get the paid plan if you really want to make the best out of this tool.

Summary: Ecomhunt is one of the earliest players in the product-finding niche. It offers stats about winning products and useful data that helps dropshippers decide about the merits of a product.

9. AutoDS – best for print-on-demand sourcing

The final one on our list is a supplier tool that also has a product importation and fulfillment system. In addition, it has bonus tools like TikTok spy and print-on-demand.  As far as suppliers go, AutoDS works with companies like Banggood, CJDropshipping, AliExpress, Walmart, and Amazon.

AutoDS Features

  • Fulfillment – if you want, you can choose products that AutoDS will fulfill. So, not only can AutoDS show you what products are winning, but it can also process orders automatically.
  • Integrations – the system integrates with Shopify, eBay, Wix, Etsy, Facebook, Amazon, and WooCommerce.
  • Print-on-Demand – you no longer have to use other POD systems like Printify or Printful. With AutoDS, it is possible to source both POD products and regular mass-manufactured products from one dashboard or source. This feature is already inclusive of the design tool, which is free to use once you become a subscriber.

AutoDS Pros

  • You can source products at better prices
  • The print-on-demand option is a plus
  • You can automatically monitor prices and inventory levels

AutoDS Cons

  • There is no free account

AutoDS has limitations as to what you can do, and these limitations depend on your account type. For example, you can only import up to 20 products at the most basic plan.

Summary: AutoDS is a product finder that also makes dropshipping earlier. From importation to fulfillment, AutoDS has the systems in place to help you manage your dropshipping business.

What to Look for in a Spy and Product Hunter Tool

As you have seen in our list, we have at least nine that you can use as an alternative to Niche Scraper. I know that it can be confusing to choose. This section will help you make a decision based on what a spy tool must have.

1. Product Sales Analysis

One key thing that you cannot compromise is the product analysis part of a spy tool. Product research is the very reason you are paying for a tool like this.

Ideally, the product research should show:

  • Sales count
  • Revenue of the product
  • Suppliers or sources
  • Competition level

Without these details, you would think that a product has a demand, only to realize that there is none. What you want to find is a product that has high sales with little competition, which a spy tool should be able to provide.

2. Competitor Performance

The second item you want is the capability of the system to search for other dropshippers in your niche. On top of that, you want a tool that can show you how this competitor is performing.

Yes, you can do manual research if you want, like googling keywords and then review which stores first pop up on the search results. However, this style of research will not show:

  • Competitor sales performance
  • Sales channels
  • Applications used to manage the store
  • Marketing efforts and

Think of the dropshipping business like a war. Military organizations spy on each other all the time. the knowledge they gain from spying activities allows them to prepare how to compete. With a competitor research tool, you can do the same

3. Tracking Services

A tracking service is a program that allows you to save or bookmark either a product or a competitor in the tool. Then, you can come back to it in a week without doing another search. With a single click, you

will have visibility on the performance of either a product or a store.

Here is a sample of what a tracking dashboard looks like:

On this page, you will see several stores that I am tracking with Dropship.IO. I know how much they sold today, yesterday, the previous seven days, and 30 days If I want to see more data, all I have to do is click on INSIGHTS.

4. Portfolio for Winning Products

An excellent spy tool can give you a default list of winning products, so you do not have to do your research manually all the time. We do have a screenshot of this in the next section.

A portfolio or a winning product drop keeps you in the loop of what is going on outside your store. Sometimes, we get so busy that we no longer have the time to look for winning products.

If you do not know it by now, looking for new products is exhausting. Should you decide to pay for a spy tool, get one that drops new winning and trending products regularly. This should give you ideas about what new products to sell without the effort of researching on your own.

5. Ad Spy System

Finally, it is best to get a spy tool that gives you access to ads. After finding a winning product and building your dropshipping store, your next challenge is marketing.

People change, and so does marketing. There is a proper way to do this, but then you would have to study marketing before you figure out how to do this right.

Instead of going that route, use an ad spy tool to see which ads are performing and converting. From here, you can create ads that are similar to this winning ad and use them to your advantage.

Summary: Think of a spy tool like a physical tool. The more services or functions it has, the better for you. At the very least, choose a spy tool that provides product research, competitor research, and an ad spy system.

Benefits of a Tool Like Niche Scraper and Its Alternative

A tool like Dropship.IO or Niche Scraper is worth the cost. The data you find in tools like this is invaluable. Just imagine the amount of time you have to spend to get the same data, and you will realize how such tools like these are indispensable to dropshippers.

Here are the other benefits:

  • Sell products that have buyers
  • Know what your competitors are doing
  • Improve dropshipping conversion rates with ads
  • Sell more with trending products

Let us take a look at each one.

1. Sell products that have buyers

Dropshippers fail because they make no sales, and one of the reasons for not having sales is they chose the wrong product. It is typical for a newbie to fall in love with a product and attempt to sell it, and then learn later that no one is interested.

With the spy tools on our list, you will have visibility on what products are selling the most units. For example, Dropship.IO can show you if an item is hot or not based on unit sales. Here is a screenshot:

Without this information, you really have no clue if there is a demand for the item you want to sell. If you use a product database or spy tool, you will only sell winning products and never experiment on anything ever again.

2. Know what your competitors are doing

As a dropshipper, it is not unusual that you live in a bubble—it is not like a physical business where you can simply walk into a competitor’s store and see what they are doing. In an online business, you may find a competitor’s website, but you will never see data about their business.

With a competitor research or spy tool, you will see something like this:

Now, you know how much revenue they make daily, weekly, or monthly. In addition, you will also see what apps they use to manage their business, plus the social media channels they operate.

Armed with this information, you have the option to create marketing plans and make better offers than they do. You can also spy on their suppliers and product importation tools or see how they manage their social media accounts.

3. Improve dropshipping conversion rates with ads

There are millions of ads in different social media networks and advertising networks. The question is: which type of ad works best?

With a spy tool like Ad Spot, you can research the ads of your competitors or products similar to yours. It looks something like this:

If you want to view more details about the ad, the summary at the bottom is what you need. The ad in the middle of our screenshot has 19.8 thousand likes and reactions, 92 comments, 59 shares, and 188.4 thousand views.

These numbers are good, and the next step now is to watch this ad, learn from its content, and then read the comments of the viewers. As you can see, investigating ads this way will help you create better marketing plans than experimenting on your own.

4. Sell more with trending products

Spy tools like ours have what we call Portfolio or Product Drop. The system has an algorithm that automatically picks winning products. You will get a notification weekly for new and trending products that you can sell.

Here is an example:

These products may not belong to your niche, but you will, eventually, see one that belongs to yours. As far as analysis goes, we can take the soap box as an example.

If we click on VIEW DETAILS, we will see this:

From here, you can make an informed decision if you want to sell this item in your store. The details that will guide you are:

  • Capital cost
  • Suggested retail price
  • Number of competitors and saturation level
  • Profit margins

The analysis will also show you where to possibly get the item, or suppliers you can work with. You can click on the icons of Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon, and others to view similar products.

Summary: Tools like Niche Scraper will help you do your research faster. you can also make wise business decisions—data-driven decisions not based on hunches.
