Etsy Dropshipping Suppliers: 11 Best Companies to Work With

In this article, I will provide you with the 11 best Etsy dropshipping suppliers that I recommend. I based this list on experience, and also carefully investigated what these platforms have to offer.

As an Etsy dropshipper myself, I know that it is hard to choose which supplier platform to use. Because of this, I will provide you with the pros and cons of each supplier in my list, and also discuss the best features of each company.

You will learn:

Top 11 Etsy Dropshipping Suppliers

Here is a quick list:

  1. Printify – best for phone cases and knick-knacks
  2. Printful – best for home and living
  3. Shop 3D – best for 3D art
  4. AOP Plus – best for apparel
  5. ArtOfWhere – best for eco-friendly products
  6. Gelato – best for cards and photobooks
  7. CJDropshipping – best for jewelry
  8. AliExpress – best for US dropshipping on Etsy
  9. eBay – best for UK and US customers
  10. Zazzle – best for Australia
  11. Alibaba – best for wholesale white-label dropshipping

11 Best Etsy Dropshipping Suppliers

1. Printify – best for phone cases and knick-knacks

Printify is a leading print-on-demand supplier that has global partners. What I love about it is that it is 100% free to use. In addition, they have over 900 types of products—all blanks, waiting for your design to bring them to life.

Printify is so huge that there are more than 8 million sellers that use this platform. Despite that, I can say that the size of their market has little impact on their performance.

Printify Features

  • Design Tool – the design tool of Printify is a drag-and-drop designer. Just drag your image and the system will wrap the design around the product.
  • Integration – it is not only Etsy where you can integrate your Printify account. the platform can integrate with many other e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc. Because of this, you can create one Printify design and upload the same product to different online stores.
  • Print Providers and Facilities – the company works with more than 80 print providers spread globally. They have printing facilities in more than 110 countries. Because of this, you can the supplier you want based on their location. The closer they are to your target market, the faster and cheaper the shipping will be.

Printify Pros

  • The system is easy to use
  • You can integrate Printify with many platforms
  • You can get discounts if you upgrade your membership
  • The mock-up and design tools are self-explanatory

Printify Cons

  • Lack of mock-ups; you must use third-party software to get more marketing pics for your products

Printify Pricing

It is free to use Printify, with an option to upgrade later to a Premium Account, which costs $24.99 monthly. At this plan or price point, you can integrate your Printify account with ten stores. You can also get up to 20% on products, which gives you 20% more profit.

2. Printful – best for home and living

Printful, like Printify, is a leading POD platform. What I like about it is that they have many blank items for the home and living niche.

Here are some examples:

  • Wooden ornaments
  • Towels
  • Wall art
  • Flags
  • Mugs

I am not saying that these are the only things they sell. Printful’s catalog is huge, but they have great options for the home and living niche.

Printful Features

  • Hire An Expert – Printful has a partnership with Fiverr where you can get up to a 10% discount if you hire someone on the Fiverr platform. Why do you need Fiverr? It is a marketplace where you can hire freelancers like designers, SEO specialists, etc.
  • Lots of Products – you will find all sorts of knick-knacks in Printful’s catalog. Here are some uncommon print-on-demand items: patches, pins, hair accessories, etc.
  • Integration – you can integrate the Printful platform not only with Etsy but with many others. Here are some examples: WooCommerce, Wix Squarespace, Ecwid, Weebly, Shopify, and many more.

Printful Pros

  • Printful has a huge catalog of products
  • Global supplier location and shipping
  • Multiple types of printing methods
  • Several branding options

Printful Cons

  • You only get more branding options if you are a paying subscriber

Printful Pricing

Although Printful, like Printify, is easy to use, it also offers a membership plan. Should you choose to pay, you will get benefits like discounts on samples up to 25%, product discounts of up to 33% on selected categories, digitization of your designs so you can print them using embroidery, and so much more.

If you are new to dropshipping, I suggest that you use the free account for now. Once you are making enough sales to cover the cost of membership, which is $24.99 monthly, only then do I suggest that you upgrade your account.

3. Shop 3D – best for 3D art

Shop3D is not a common name in the print-on-demand business. I think that it is probably because their products have a high degree of complexity in them.

Shop3D is primarily your best supplier for 3D prints. For example, you can send them a 3D architectural plan for a toy, and then they will “print” that toy. That toy is a real one—it is a real toy that you can touch and play with and paint, too.

Shop3D Features

  • Manufacturing Automation – you can work out a deal with Shop3D where you will use their systems to manufacture products in bulk. They will take care of manufacturing your products while you keep yourself busy with marketing. This feature is best for white-label dropshippers on Etsy.
  • Various Materials – you can 3D print products using various materials, such as yellow, rose, and white gold. You can also avail of silver 3D prints, bronze, brass, and full-color resin.
  • Integration – Shop3D can integrate with Shopify Etsy, WooCommerce, and through an API. Although these products will be pushed to your store, they do not have an option to auto-update product stock availability.

Shop3D Pros

  • Lots of materials to choose from
  • The system integrates with three major platforms, including Etsy
  • They provide warehousing and fulfillment serves
  • Bulk orders and white-label dropshipping are available

Shop3D Cons

  • Not a lot of products to choose from if you do not pay a subscription

Shop3D Pricing

Shop3D offers a free plan, but they will brand the items with the Shop3D name. If you want to make your products look like they are your own, you must pay a monthly fee. The Starter Package costs £19.99 monthly, and there is a minimum order of 10 items per month.

The second plan costs £149.99 monthly, and this plan now includes your brand name in the tape and stickers. There is also a packaging material where your brand name is on a leaflet in the box. The last plan costs £349.99 per month, and you must meet an order of 5,000 orders per month.

4. AOP Plus – best for apparel

AOP Plus is like Printify and Printful—it is a POD company with a system that you can integrate with your online store. While the other two leading POD companies can integrate with several platforms, AOP Plus only integrates with Etsy, Shopify, and BigCommerce.

AOP Plus Features

  • Custom Branding – you can work with the AOP team so they can add your branding and packaging to the items you sell.
  • Catalog – AOP’s catalog is not as big as other POD companies. What I noticed is that they have a specific focus on clothing, and it is why this is the best partner for an apparel niche Etsy dropshipping store. Here, you will find clothing for men, women, kids, and activewear. they also offer organic apparel and unisex clothing.
  • Support – the company offers 24/7 support for all its users, even those who do not pay a monthly fee

AOP Plus Pros

  • Lots of apparel items to choose from
  • Free to use with an option to upgrade
  • Worldwide shipping
  • There are several branding options

AOP Plus Cons

  • They do not have as many suppliers as Printify and Printful

AOP Plus Pricing

AOP offers three pricing plans. The first one is free, the second costs $11.99 per month per brand, and they call it Super Member. The third one costs $19.99, and they call it Hero Member. Each tier comes with specific features, which they do not disclose on their website.

5. ArtOfWhere – best for eco-friendly products

Although more and more companies now support environmental products, few treat the issue as a top priority like Art of Where does. This company, as you can see from the screenshot above, works hard to market vegan products that support environmental causes.

Art of Where Features

  • Integration – you can integrate Art of Where with Etsy, Shopify, Squarespace, and BigCartel. I know this is not a lot, but they support Etsy integrations, so it will work for your dropshipping needs.
  • Brand Labels – they offer several branding options for the products they ship to your consumers. You can ask them to create brand labels, cards, and stickers.
  • Design Lab – they have a system where you can not only upload but also create your designs. This design lab is already inclusive of mock-ups that you can use in your Etsy listings and marketing activities.
  • Prints – you can choose from several types of prints. The one they use most of the time is sublimation. One downside is that they do not offer embroidery.

Art of Where Pros

  • The system is easy to use
  • It is a great partner for businesses that want to focus on sustainability
  • Lots of branding options

Art of Where Cons

  • They support only a few integrations

Art of Where Pricing

There is no fee to use the Art of Where print-on-demand system. You can also buy either at retail or wholesale prices.

As a dropshipper, you will not get the best price. For example, a pair of lounge pants that they sell for $47 will cost you $35 if you are a dropshipper. If you buy these pants wholesale, the price gets lower at $28 a pair. However, you must also meet wholesale minimum order requirements, which vary from one product to another.

6. Gelato – best for cards and photobooks

Gelato is what I recommend if your niche is photobooks and cards. They also offer other items, such as wall art, phone cases, tote bags, etc. Like the other POD platforms here, you can integrate Gelato with other platforms like Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, and Squarespace.

Gelato Features

  • Production Sites – Gelato has production sites in 32 countries.
  • Gelato Academy – if it is your first time doing dropshipping, Gelato has a training system where you can learn everything you need to know about dropshipping. They even have training videos specific to Etsy.
  • Mock-Up Studio – you can toggle or edit how you want to show the mockup. For example, if you want to use a mock-up of your canvas print, Gelato has a system where you can move the position of the canvas on the wall.

Gelato Pros

  • The system integrates with many platforms
  • The design editor is free
  • You can use many images from their stock of photos
  • you can brand your products with labels and inserts

Gelato Cons

  • You only get premium mock-ups if you pay a subscription

Gelato Pricing

Gelato offers four subscription plans, including a free one. The Gelato+ costs $24 monthly while the Gelato Gold costs $119 monthly. The difference between these plans is that you get cheaper shipping costs. In addition, a paid plan gives you access to millions of stock images you can use for your designs.

7. CJDropshipping – best for jewelry

CJDropshipping is like a conduit between AliExpress and dropshippers, or Alibaba and dropshippers. I am saying this because most products you will find on the CJ platform are from AliExpress or Alibaba. Since there is no direct integration between AliExpress and dropshipping sites, CJ saw to it to address this problem.

Although the set-up bridges the gap between AliExpress and online store platforms, you will find sellers in CJ whose items fit the requirements of Etsy, mostly for the jewelry niche.

CJDropshipping Features

  • Product Sourcing – you can ask a CJ operative to look for a supplier if the product you want to sell is not in the CJ database. This CJ employee will eventually contact you to let you know if the product sourcing activity is a success or not.
  • Print-on-Demand – you can use the CJ platform to sell POD products. It is in this branch of CJ where you can find jewelry items that you can personalize through engraving.
  • Warehouse – CJ has warehouses in several countries like the US, Germany, the UK, and many more. Choose products in particular locations and sell them in the same market for faster shipping times.

CJDropshipping Pros

  • The system integrates with many platforms
  • Some sellers offer personalized items
  • You can order branding labels
  • They offer product sourcing as a service

CJDropshipping Cons

  • Shipping can take too long

CJDropshipping Pricing

CJDropshipping is completely free to use. There are fees associated with your purchases, and these fee amounts vary based on the product you bought and sold. Even the sourcing services are free.

The one thing you must worry about CJ is the shipping time. It can take more than three weeks for the item to arrive. The solution is to find products according to their location. This way, you will only sell items that are physically in the same location as your shipping destination.

8. AliExpress – best for US dropshipping on Etsy

AliExpress for Etsy? Yes, you can use AliExpress as a dropshipping supplier on Etsy, but you must look for suppliers who personalize goods—those who make unique products.

Take a look at the screenshot above. This watch comes from a brand called Bobo Bird. I scrolled through the product description and saw that they do engraving.

This seller is what you want. You can buy in retail, plus they ship internationally. On Etsy, you can offer personalization services, such as engraving the names of the recipients.

AliExpress Features

  • International Shipping – multiple shipping carriers support AliExpress, and almost all sellers ship internationally.
  • Dropship Support – many sellers in the AliExpress platform understand what dropshipping means. They are all supportive of dropshippers and are willing to go the extra mile to provide help.
  • Product Volume – there are millions of products in the AliExpress platform. There certainly is a product here that matches your niche. The only possible challenge you can have, particularly because you want to sell on Etsy, is the uniqueness of the product. Most items in AliExpress are mass-manufactured, so it can take some time before you find a unique item that is acceptable on Etsy.

AliExpress Pros

  • Millions of products to choose from
  • Multiple shipping arrangement
  • Super affordable products; high margins for profit

AliExpress Cons

  • No direct integration with Etsy

AliExpress Pricing

AliExpress is 100% free to use. The only two things you will pay for are the product and the shipping. One challenge you may have is the product importation process. This problem has an easy solution, as many third-party apps allow you to connect AliExpress with Etsy, such as CJDropshipping

9. eBay – best for UK and US customers

eBay is where you can find all sorts of products, including vintage and unique ones. Because of this, you can find sellers on eBay and work out a dropshipping deal with them.

One good example I can provide is the screenshot above. These 3D prints are made-to-order, and you can certainly work with the seller and ask if he has other prints to offer. Do not limit yourself to prints—think of a unique item that is not normally available on Etsy, and then look for a seller on eBay who offers it.

eBay Features

  • Security – as a buyer, eBay provides you with buyer protection. You can file a chargeback or ask for a refund if you (or your customer) did not receive the item.
  • Seller Accommodation – you can chat directly with eBay sellers and make arrangements. For example, you can ask them to ship several items in the same package so both of you can save on shipping costs.
  • Bidding – the platform started in the 1990s as an auction platform. It still is. Because of this, you can place bids on products and get them at a cheaper price if you win the bid.

eBay Pros

  • There are millions of products to choose from
  • You can choose from many sellers worldwide (the UK and US are the biggest eBay marketplaces)
  • No branding (you can work directly with the seller to remove his brand and replace it with yours

eBay Cons

  • A discerning Etsy shopper may know that your products come from eBay
  • You may be competing against the seller

eBay Pricing

eBay is free to use. As a dropshipper, consider yourself a buyer on eBay, not a seller. Buyers on eBay do not pay any fee. It is the seller who pays the listing fees and transaction fees to eBay.

10. Zazzle – best for Australia

Zazzle is where you can find personalized gifts. At first, one would think that it is a print-on-demand company, but it is not. It is like Etsy—it is a marketplace for unique products, but there is a specific focus on personalizing the goods.

Here are some product examples:

  • Neckties
  • Mugs
  • Cards
  • Photo albums
  • Poker chips

As a dropshipper, you will create an account in Zazzle as a buyer. One thing I recommend that you do is to chat with the seller before selling his products on Etsy. Find out what the shipping costs are and understand the product limitations. This way, you can provide answers to your Etsy customers if need be.

Zazzle Features

  • International Shipping – the company has specific shipping rates for destination countries. As a buyer, you can use their shipping estimation tool that will tell you how long the product will take to make and how long the shipping will take.
  • Fast Shipping – Zazzle offers expedited and express shipping options. These shipping options allow you to track your package and your customer will receive the items between 3 to 9 days.

Zazzle Pros

  • All items are unique
  • Zazzle offers refunds if you are not happy with the products
  • You can filter goods per country
  • You can track your orders (shipping status)

Zazzle Cons

  • Refunds can take up to 21 days

Zazzle Pricing

Zazzle is free to use because you are a buyer. Like eBay, only the sellers pay Zazzle a fee. To use Zazzle effectively as an Etsy dropshipper, I suggest that you look for a product now, and then discuss your terms with the seller.

In addition to all these, I must tell you that there is no direct integration between Zazzle and Etsy. These two websites are competitors. The only way to move product images and their details to Etsy is by manual copying and pasting.

11. Alibaba – best for wholesale white-label dropshipping

Alibaba is the parent company of AliExpress. The difference between the two is that Alibaba is for wholesalers while AliExpress is for retailers. It is where you can find suppliers who can offer you huge discounts for private-label and white-label dropshipping.

Alibaba Features

  • Millions of Products – Alibaba is the world's largest marketplace; wholesalers spend billions of dollars annually to buy products here. It is impossible not to find products here that you can sell on Etsy.
  • Small MOQ – many sellers on this platform require around 10 products as the minimum order requirement. However, white-label goods also mean that you must order at least 100 pieces. Different sellers have different requirements so you can negotiate.

Alibaba Pros

  • There are thousands of suppliers you can work with
  • Some suppliers offer warehousing services

Alibaba Cons

  • No integration whatsoever with Etsy

Alibaba Pricing

Alibaba is completely 100% free to use. You will not pay any fees for being a member. Since the business model here is wholesale, you must prepare a lot of cash for your products.

If you want to dropship on Etsy, I suggest that you start with only one product. For example, you can ask a manufacturer to make 100 pieces of “vintage” car plates. Some sellers will agree to make several designs of it, but you must order at least 100 in total.

These sellers may allow five designs, so you will have 20 pieces for each design, which totals 100 pieces. Then, you can post these items on Etsy. What you can do for warehousing is make arrangements with the supplier, or you can find another company that provides warehousing and fulfillment services.

Who Is the Best Etsy Supplier?

In my opinion, Printify is the best Etsy supplier for your print-on-demand dropshipping business. I have used several POD companies in the past, and I am happy with the service Printify provides.

Earlier, I provided the best features of the best dropshipping partners you can use. By far, Printify is the easiest one to use, and it also has so many products that you can choose from.

In addition, the products are of high quality. The prints are vibrant, and I have no remorse for choosing Printify as my POD supplier. However, it is merely my opinion. To identify the best, I suggest that you place an order for each of these supplies so you can see the quality of the print and the speed of shipping.

Things to Know Before Dropshipping on Etsy

Etsy allows dropshipping, so do not believe those who say that dropshipping is not allowed on the Etsy platform. However, as with all other e-commerce marketplaces, Etsy has specific rules you must abide by, which I will summarize in this section.

1. No Mass-Manufactured Goods

The founders of Etsy created the marketplace for artists and consumers who want unique items. The basic expectation from Etsy is that you sell items that do not come from a factory.

The exception to this rule is print-on-demand. While print-on-demand products all come from factories, the designs of the dropshippers are unique. In addition, it is not unusual for print-on-demand dropshippers to offer personalized items.

If you want to sell AliExpress items on Etsy, I must say forget about it. You may succeed in building that kind of dropshipping store, but Etsy will catch up with you and shut your store down.

2. No Racist, Adult, and Similarly Offensive Good

You must not sell items that are offensive, such as t-shirts with prints that incite violence, racism, hate, etc.

Here is a quick summary of this policy:

  • No offensive jokes
  • You cannot sell sex toys or pornographic materials
  • You cannot sell any item or design that discriminates against any person

Hate speech and bigotry is also a no-no. If you need more information about this, please visit Etsy’s guide on anti-discrimination and hate speech.

3. There Is a Fee to Sell on Etsy

You will pay $0.20 for each listing on Etsy. This listing will expire in four months, and you will pay the fee again should you wish to renew.

One thing that many Etsy sellers do not seem to realize is that once you sold an item, and it still has stock, Etsy will relist that item and you must pay $0.20 again. All Etsy fees are automatic, and you can do nothing but pay.

If you try to circumvent the fees by not paying, you will not be able to use Etsy again in the future unless you pay what you owe.

4. You Can Purchase Etsy Ads

If you did not know it yet, Etsy allows you to buy ads. Etsy itself places bids in advertising networks, and it can place your product images in those ad spots. There is no cut-and-dried price matrix for the ad cost.

In addition, you can also buy ads to make your listings prominent on the Etsy website or mobile apps. It is highly similar to what you can do on Amazon. If you do this, and a customer types a keyword related to your product in the Etsy search bar, your product will be at the top of the search results.

5. There Are Shipping Rules

Etsy requires transparency in shipping. As a seller, you must indicate in your product listing where your item will physically come from.

If you dropship using print-on-demand services, just use the home address or location of the print-on-demand company. For example, the headquarters of Printify is in the United States, so use the USA as the “from” address of your product listings.

There are many more policies for dropshippers on Etsy, but these five are the most important ones. The Etsy Selling Policy is what I recommend that you read if you need a full guide.

Do not, and I must stress this, attempt to circumvent these rules. If Etsy finds out you are breaking these rules, they may close your account with no warning.

Marketing Techniques to Succeed in Etsy Dropshipping

Etsy is a huge marketplace. One of the things I learned when I dropshipped on the platform is that your listings will not make it to the top of the search results. You must do something to get your products out there. Otherwise, no one will them.

In this section, I will share several tips on how to market your Etsy products. My suggestion is that you focus on only one or two. Be good at this marketing tactic, and then you can move on to the rest.

1. YouTube/TikTok Video

Video is what drives traffic. It is what gets people’s attention. If you want to make sales on Etsy, you have to create videos that help people understand what your product is, and why they must buy it.

One of the best examples I can provide you with marketing is the Dumb Club. They sell print-on-demand hoodies pretty much only one design.

This dropshipper is successful because it makes viral videos on TikTok. What they do is go to random people on the street and ask questions. If the participant answered right, he got a free hoodie.

Viral videos make you trustworthy, especially if your content is entertaining. Eventually, you will have many subscribers and fans, and they will become your customers and brand ambassadors.

2. Instagram and Other Social Media

Instagram and other social media outlets are great if your product is photogenic. A product cut that has little impact from photography will not make it to the top of Instagram. For example, a simple white shirt pretty much means nothing to an Instagram user.

Why is this? It is because the users of Instagram and social media are highly visual people. They want to see items that are bright and colorful.

In addition, Instagram and social media users want to see products that make them look great. Because of this, you need to take into account how a target consumer will be able to feel proud of your product. Position your product as something that will give the buyer a “bragging right.”

3. Search Engine Optimization

One of the things that Etsy sellers seem to neglect in marketing is search engine optimization or SEO. It is a process where you make it easier for search engines to understand what your product is.

For example, if you are selling a hoodie that has a tribal print on it, do not call it “hoodie” only. You must think of what a consumer is likely to type in the Etsy search box.

Here are some examples:

  • Tribal print white hoodie for men and women
  • Hoodie with tribal print design
  • Tribal hoodie

These are what you call keywords—things that people type in search boxes. If Etsy knows that your product title and product description contain these words, the Etsy algorithm will show your product in the search results. Printify, one of the leading print-on-demand suppliers, has an excellent tutorial about Etsy SEO, and I suggest that you give it a go.

4. Product Images

Finally, make sure that your product images comply with Etsy standards. It would help if you took shots of your products from all angles.

This marketing strategy can be a challenge, especially if you are a print-on-demand dropshipper. Many print-on-demand companies provide limited product photos. In this case, you can reach out to suppliers to ask for more product shots.

The other option is to order the items yourself, and then do the photography at home. You do not need to buy the same item with different designs. Just buy one, take multiple images, then publish them in the Etsy listing. The customer would understand that the products in your listings are the same but with different designs.

Marketing is one of the toughest things a dropshipper will face. It is easy to design products or curate them from suppliers. It is also easy to build a store on Shopify or Etsy. You can even buy pre-built Shopify stores.

Marketing, on the other hand, is another beast to tackle. My take is that you take a long hard look at your product. Ask yourself who is likely to buy it and think how you can reach out to this customer.

In addition, I can say that marketing is a trial-and-error kind of thing, especially if you are new to the industry. However, do not despair—learn from your mistakes and you will achieve your goals!

FAQ: Etsy Dropshipping Suppliers

Is Etsy a good dropshipping supplier?

No, because Etsy is not a dropshipping supplier. Etsy is a marketplace like Amazon where you can dropship products.

Can you use Etsy products for dropshipping?

Etsy has no products. However, you can contact the sellers on Etsy and ask them to do dropshipping with you. You can post their products in your online store, and then order from them once you have customers who paid you.

Does Etsy ban dropshippers?

No, Etsy does not ban dropshippers. Dropshipping is acceptable on Etsy, provided that you comply with their selling rules and policies.

Does Etsy allow CJ dropshipping?

I doubt it. Although you can dropship on Etsy with CJ because CJ integrates with the platform, I suggest not selling mass-manufactured goods. Instead, use the print-on-demand partner of CJ to be your dropshipping partner.

Summary: Etsy Dropshipping Suppliers

Etsy is an excellent marketplace for print-on-demand dropshippers. The competition is high, but the rewards are also high. The next step now is to visit the dropshipping suppliers that I mentioned here. Of all these, I strongly recommend either Printify or Printful
